PARENT ACKNOWLEDGMENT
Lyle S. Briggs Fundamental School is a voluntary, alternative educational program based on high academic, behavior, and dress code standards. Briggs Fundamental School serves the entire Chino Valley Unified School District, and students are admitted via the District lottery drawing on a first come, first serve basis. We are the only Kindergarten - 8th grade school in the CVUSD. Because attendance at Briggs Fundamental School is a privilege, enrollment requires parental support and student compliance with all standards and expectations.
Students enrolled at Briggs Fundamental School will adhere to a strong academic program and reinforcing homework policy that exceeds the minimal requirements of the District. In addition, a strict dress code and “no-nonsense” discipline policy necessitates a clear understanding by parents and students of all material set forth in the 2007-2008 Parent Student Handbook.
Parents who send their children to a fundamental school do so as a matter of personal choice. In doing so, they make a firm commitment to academic excellence and agree to abide by the policies and procedures established for our school.
